With both ceni, and wicd the system freezes during the scan for networks.
Here is the system with the problems.

Does this use the latest ceni in the repo? And is it fully dist-upgraded for Wheezy?

I did an update using the smxi script after the install, with the Wheezy repo.
I'm going to check, the md5sum on the install disk, if it fails. I'm going to burn a new one, then try again.

I test the software, and hardware everything checks out fine. But i still have the same issue.
So I tried a different Linux distro to see if the same thing happens. It worked fine with this distro.
Ubuntu 9.04 Kernel 2.6.28-11

I'm going to try the same thing with a distro with a more up to date kernel.

You may already doing this check, however in the case you are not.
Compare the module or driver used with the antiX version that freezes and one where the system does not freeze.
I know inxi displays this, I forget the command to display this without inxi. I have become so dependant on inxi __{{emoticon}}__ .

Anyway if there is a differance, you could try modprobe -r bad_module and then modprobe good_module on the system that is locking up.

Seems to be an issue with Debian I just tried it with Debian 7.0.0-i386 and I get the same results.

I have found the issue it was the wireless card itself.
It no longer works regardless of what OS I have tried.
