Just curious why i'm getting slow download through synaptic manger.

through iceweasel download i can get 148 K
I have dsl 1.5

I've noticed that the Synaptic has lower download speeds as well.

I just assumed that it was because of all the people getting the antiX/MEPIS magic!

Maybe try changing the repos to one closer to home.

By default antiX uses German Debian repos (de)
