On my HP DC7600 desktop computer, antiX Linux is using the internal speaker instead of the external one. I really want it to use just the external speaker so that I can more easily control the volume.

Puppy Linux by default uses the external speaker instead of the internal one. Thus, the issue is specific to the OS.

Why is antiX Linux defaulting to the internal speaker, and how do I change this? I tried gamixer, but I couldn't find the control for the external speaker.
