Hi all, how's it going in the AntiX world?
First let me start by saying thanks for the quick help you have all provided in the past, really helped get systems setup for a classroom. I was able to get a test lab of 24 HP/Compaq dc7700u computers going with AntiX and Citrix clients setup and running.
The feedback so far is that the systems are more responsive than the 24 systems before that were running Windows XP & Citrix, so a good test. I have only had two problems with running AntiX on this same hardware. The mouse has frozen after one minute of use on two different computers. Dropped a new image and tried a USB and PS2 mouse, but mouse quits working after about a minute. I boot with Hiren's Boot CD and used Seagate DiscWizard to drop an image and the mouse never froze up at all.
Any ideas on why a mouse would quit working?

Is this a minute of use or a minute of no action?
If no action I would look into the mouse configuration and see if it is set to hide after 1 minute. Maybe it is hiding and not being able to wake up.

Thanks, will look at that setting tomorrow. I believe it happened either way, remember I was checking settings and it just quit working. This is from an Image used made with CloneZilla, so I would think they would all have the problem?Dave wrote:Is this a minute of use or a minute of no action?
