i've noticed that if i change to"list" view, i can't open any file!
change back to"icon" view and opens like normal.

something similar in synaptic where after"search", the pointer shows infinitely like it's searching but if i go to the results tab there i have all the results and the pointer stops. if i am in the results tab and then search for something it's all fine!
