Debian and therefore MEPIS and antiX does not include the drivers for this anymore as it is in breach of Debian licensing policy.

If you have this chip, you need to:

wget

then load the sound module with mod, unload it with rmmod

I think you can also use the alsa firmware made by Stevo at MEPIS;overs.
