AntiX is the first and only Linux Live distro that allowed me to access the Internet wirelessly (with just the input of my WEP key). Impressive! I hope the same holds true when I decide to install it on the hard drive.

Speaking of hard drives, when running AntiX from CD how does one go about mounting the hard drive?

One more question. AntiX is described as being designed for"older computers." What is the definition of an"older computer?"

Welcome to antiX!

1) If you open a terminal, become root, and type: you will then be able to see and access the hard drive when you click Menu --> Files, go up two levels and click on the directory /mnt

Thanks, Jerry. I'll try it after work today. BTW, as I already learned mounting a thumb drive is as easy as plugging it into a USB port and waiting for the system to recognize it!!

I should have added: to access the drive after mounting, open a terminal, become root, then type: rox-filer. Then you can navigate to and open /media/sda1 (or whatever its name is on your particular system).
