Hi,

Code: Select all

/usr/local/bin/wicdtrayicon.sh &

Code: Select all

exec /usr/bin/fluxbox

Hi,

I have not yet figured out which setting the wicd network manager in the startup directories

~ /. fluxbox
and
~ /. icewm

make is that the icon not in the"wcid-client &" Close window on the desktop, the toolbar disappears.
code:
/ usr / local / bin / & wicdtrayicon.sh
leads only to a further entry unprofitable for the line
code:
exec / usr / bin / fluxbox
and the message log off and log on again, the setting to take effect.

Hopefully ... a

Sorry, Though born in Germany, I don't speak German. So I am using Google Translate to understand you thread better.

And that is all I got

My ~/.fluxbox/startup in geany at line 36 on to line 46

Code: Select all

# Applications you want to run with fluxbox.
# MAKE SURE THAT APPS THAT KEEP RUNNING HAVE AN ''&'' AT THE END.
#
# unclutter -idle 2 &
# wmnd &
# wmsmixer -w &
wicd-client &
tint2 &
# Desktop icons
#pcmanfm --desktop &

Disregard the tint2 entry as I use tint2 for a toolbar in fluxbox on my install.

My ~/.icewm/startup from line in geany from line 8 to line 10

Code: Select all

#killall icewmtray
#icewmtray &
sleep 2 && wicd-client &

Hope that helps you. I am also going to move your viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3414 thread from tips and tricks as I think it fits the new users section.

Hi Rok,

Thank you for your help and thank you for your welcome.

The entry between lines 36 and 46, and 8 and 10 is correct.
I did the same.

The icon remains but not in the toolbar after closing the wicd window.

You have to have any advice?

I cheat and on the task bar I right click wicd and pick move to Desktop 4 instead of closing the wicd-gtk.

I know that is a biker way of doing this and not that elegant, but that is how I handle it.
