I am installing a Lexmark e352dn printer.
There are three options to use and I don't know which is better.
Is it better to use the generic driver provided by cups.
Or, is it better to use the PPD file at
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"https://www.openprinting.org/printer/Lexmark/Lexmark-E352dn"
linktext was:"https://www.openprinting.org/printer/Le ... ark-E352dn"

Or, is it better to use the 2012 installation file from the Lexmark website:

url was:"http://support.lexmark.com/index?docLocale=en_US&page=content&id=DR21363&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US"

Thanks for the help.

I went ahead to try to install the printer with the following outcome:
The Lexmark driver file (.deb file) from the Lexmark website installed OK but afterwards the printer was still not recognized.
I couldn't find a way to use the PPD file with the printer wizard.
The generic driver recommended by the printer wizard (control center>printer installation) was successful.
The printer is now working fine.
