Hi
I did like that OS very much, but, I cant seem to open many of the options under settings, etc backup and other like meta package. I've got the correct pw for root, but it dosent open anything?
BUT if I use live cd, then all is ok??
I would very much like to use this OS but this makes trouble for me, if I cant change in installed OS.
And it doesnt seem to be norwegian language either in meta packages (checked in live cd)
Frode
NB! It seems it opens in the background somewhere... If I go terminal and f ex type simple-backup-conf then I'll go straight to the"tool" but not through antiX control center. Granted permissions without asking for password, can I undo that?

There must be something wrong with the installed version, possibly connected with locales settings and the password you chose (if it is in Norwegian or the keyboard is different)
Edit: Are you using the full or base version of antiX-M8 and icewm or fluxbox?

Hi
Yeah, its full install, not the base, and icewm. But I'm not using any of norwegian letters (æøå) in my pw. Maybe download another version of antix, 'cause I realy loved the OS. I'm back at mandriva now..
Is it best to burn te iso slow, or is it the which speed I choose?
Frode
NB ! I used the same cd once more and now it's working... __{{emoticon}}__ I chose US language in install, as you mentioned, did'nt change anything there, and now it all seems to be working, except the sound...

Hi
somehow I've got the sound working __{{emoticon}}__ now my anti x almost 100% ok. Still missing my language, norwegian, have to change it myself att control center and periphals - keyboard layout.
Anyone who knows how long a backup of a fresh install takes? With sbackup
