You probably need to change the gtk theme as both user and root.
Run Change gtktheme in antiX control centre as user and try clearlooks or, if you have it, medittarranean.
The run lxappearance in a root terminal

Did not understand, how do I change the GTK theme? Where is the control center of Antix?
I have to download from synaptic:
Clearlooks-Phenix is a GTK3 theme that is a port of Clearlooks, the theme
Default GNOME 2. The files for GTK3 reflect the significant
changes of Adwaita, the default theme for GNOME 3. The files for GTK2
coming from Clearlooks theme unchanged.

I do not have these.
Thanks and sorry.

On mine, do not call control center, but"customize appearance and style", perhaps change the translation, I changed the topic on the"elements."
Now it is back.
Thanks
