Good Day!
I can not copy multiple items using ROX Filer __{{emoticon}}__ . I always get this error message:
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://storage7.static.itmages.ru/i/17/0103/h_1483463728_5438352_f9d7f82921.jpg"
linktext was:"http://storage7.static.itmages.ru/i/17/ ... f82921.jpg"

How can I do this?
Also I have looked here:

Does ROX Filer still supported by developers or not?

To copy multiple filesRademes wrote:I can not copy multiple items using ROX Filer __{{emoticon}}__ . I always get this error message... How can I do this?
- Open 2 Rox-Filer windows
Select multiple files in window_1
Drag-n-drop into window_2

That will hold the copy in place.
Just to add to what SamK said. Use the Ctrl key when selecting mutiple files when left clicking with mouse or trackpad touch.SamK wrote:To copy multiple filesRademes wrote:I can not copy multiple items using ROX Filer __{{emoticon}}__ . I always get this error message... How can I do this?

Well, it is very unusual and strange, that file manager can not copy multiple items using [Ctrl+C] or drop-down menu item. Can you tell, why it is so? I have tried many file managers, and I see this for the first time.

I'll refrain from commenting about"strange and unusual", just mention that I prefer spacefm filemanager.
Wait! I do have an observation regarding"strange and unusual":
In a GUI environment, most users learn that a convention exists ~~ by convention,"Ctrl+C" is associated with"Copy" action.
That is a"strange and unusal" convention, is contrary to the pre-existing, across several decades, convention employed within TTY / terminal / shell environment, wherein
Ctrl + C is used to kill a process with signal SIGINT
Can you tell, why it is so?

The ROX Desktop is a graphical desktop environment for the X Window System.
It is based on the ROX-Filer which is a drag and drop spatial file manager.
The environment was inspired by the user interface of RISC OS.

I am using antiX-linux for 5 days only, so it is difficult for me to say which file manager is better.
I told"strange and unusual" because I have tried many file managers, and I see this for the first time. Also in case I will install this Linux for another people, I am 100% sure, that I will have to explain why [Ctrl+C] does not working with multiple items.
Since you have mentioned SpaceFM, I have one question: Is it possible in SpaceFM to change files view style (Compact/Detailed/Icons) using key combination (Ctrl+1/Ctrl+2) like in PCManFM? If yes, how to set this key combination?

Today I stumbled across this topic while searching
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========

by pressing a key or a keycombo while mouse cursor is hovering over the opened rox-filer contextmenu.
Possibly, Rademes had accidentally pressed [Ctrl+C] while hovering some other menu entry, causing that accelerator to be assigned to some other command.
in SpaceFM [..] how to set this key combination?

In earlier replies, I neglected to point out that rox-filer keybinds (accelerators) are too-easily set (or accidentally changed)I always get this error message: something ru 19083719837
