I would like to install openbox and tint2 but i didn't find the file to edit in order to set startup applications
I've already downloaded and installed both but i don't know how to set them in the startup options.

Run update-default-desktop to add openbox as an option in the SLiM login screen (you can even set it as the default). Check

tintrc are all over the net. Here is one of mine I keep on file. I use it as a side bar and it autohides and also works like a unity launcher without the bloat. Mine when I run tin2 looks like this. But I ran tint2 in Fluxbox. Not openbox.

My pastbin tint2rc file on file is at

Just comment out the ones/applications not installed on your box and change the location to where you want it. It autohides anyways. If you don't wish to use it, but keep it any ways. Just name it tintrc.old
