I have lost the official blue wallpaper. Where can I download another copy?

Try at vedgoo.com. There are several different wallpapers available, including the"official" one.

Iirc it is also stored in / usr / share / backgrounds

Thanks, but couldn't find the MX-14 wallpaper there, only antix. Also, in usr/share/backgrounds I only have the xfce wallpaper.

Look in /usr/local/share/backgrounds. If they are not there then I will post them here for you.
