good old core2. even the pros still use them, trust me. and most versions of fig os were put together on a core2.

hey, im not even running 64 bit.

Yep I like them and they are good run cooler than the old net-burst Pentium did.
I have found that some 64 bit Linux distros run pretty well with only 3.0 GB of memory.

I don't need a lot for what I use a computer for.

@Poorguy.
If I do not mistake you should have understood a3 like alpha3 which means this version was a preview version, and as such potentially unstable. Now 17 is beta and still not for everyone.
If you want a stable version, sticks with the 16.2 one.

Anti can correct me if I'm wrong

poorguy - if you don't have the patience, don't use alpha (a) or beta (b) isos. Wait for the final release of antiX17, hopefully some time during the summer and before September.

The .a3 denotes Beta / testing just like the .b1 does.

Apologies accepted. BTW - there will be some changes between b1 (beta1) and final so expect some (hopefully minor) issues.
