Running Antix 13.2. Destop resolution is too small for me to see. I found out how to change the resolution to 800 X 600 but it is just for the session. How do I make it permanent?

try putting this at the end of your startup file

xrandr --output OUTPUTNAME --mode 800x600

On my laptop top, the output name of my montior is LVDS1.

Thanks for the help. Will mark this solved. Had to delete Antix 13.2. Got MX-14 installed and trying to work with it on a really old monitor. Both Antix and MX-14 seem to bog down while using iceweasel. Glad I have newer, faster desktops that I use to get work done. Keep the old boy around just to print checks. Good to have XP and a linux distro on it. Helps me learn.
