Upgrading to v13.2 seems to have gone okay in antiX v13.1 base except that at the end I get a message that desktop-defaults-base-antix depends on apt-antix, but that apt-antix doesn't exist. The full error message is

Code: Select all

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
desktop-defaults-base-antix : Depends: apt-antix but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.
As far as I can tell everything is working okay. Is this an error in the dependencies list for desktop-defaults-base-antix?

What apt repos are you using?

Check that the antix.list file exists in etc/apt/sources.d.list with this new repo.

# Use with Debian Wheezy repository. Set as default for antiX-13.2.

Thanks for the updated repos. I'd noticed that antix.list had disappeared and had got the ones shown in apt-get-update-failed-solved-t4653.html#p31395 but it seems that they weren't fully up to date.

However, even with the correct repos, the problem still remained, and it wasn't until I uninstalled desktop-defaults-base-antix and then reinstalled it that it was fixed.

With regard to the repos, could someone set up a post with showing the latest repos and pin it to the top of this section of the forum.
