This weekend is better wait to dist-upgrade.
The D-U remove all the packages from Xorg and the transition is only 10% ready

I'm using Antix/Sid with the Swiss repo (I'm living in north Italy 57 km from the border)

I have removed the xserver-xorg-video packages I don't use using Smxi (love tihs script __{{emoticon}}__ )
and later running the dist-upgrade ... all is OK __{{emoticon}}__

The transition from the tracker here is alwais 89% (if some of you keep all the video drivers installed)

Wish I had known this Friday before I did a dist-upgrade and broke my xserver-xorg. I didn't know anything was wrong until today, since after the upgrade I used the laptop for a few hours Friday, then shut down and did not ry to use it again until today when I was away from any internet access, and had no tools with me to fix it.

If you use smxi you can restore your Xorg without problem.
You need to run Smxi and then read all the choice in the menu.
You can install your xorg driver without problem
