I have a few ?s about x15.
1. Please tell me if there is a software-center on antix15 or one i can download that goes into better browsing than synaptic pm.
2. Will this version support running the current version 5 of LibreOffice?
3. When i install x15, will i have to kill iceweasel browser every time to make the resources ram and processor stats go down? I am trying it
live and the processor will not slow down or kill iceweasel browser when i close the application.
x15 looks promising! Does it have functionality of a screen switch to work on laptops? The only version i see that even comes close to this but is a far ways off is Bodhi 3.0. Of course their running from ubuntu base.

" Please tell me if there is a software-center on antix15"
Like Ubuntu? No. We have a Meta Package installer though.
AntiX came on CD. Ubuntu comes on DVD.

Depends on the user.
I don't know what to say about x15 and Bohdi and Iceweasel in the rest of your post.
I don't use them (x15 & Bohdi).
Howdy and Welcome to AntiX.

1. debian dropped software-center as of version 8 (jessie) so you are stuck with synaptic. and the metapackage-installer
2. it should as long as you stick to the jessie repos (the default)
3. I have no idea. No problems with iceweasel for me. live or installed.
hidden no. 4 - screen switch for laptops? I assume you mean like dual or mirrored monitors? That does work on my notebooks, although the key stroke on a couple doesn't work. This can be configure in the Control Center>Session>Set Resolution ,which actually launches arandr which will let you do all kinds of things with video outputs.

Or, at least I do, for the iceweasel version preinstalled in antix15full 64bit.
I use a wrapper script to call iceweasel. Its final step calls"killall iceweasel" after each run.
AFAICT, the problem is specific to Flash or gstreamer. If I've not viewed any multimedia-embedded pages during a run, no problem occurs.
edit:
I had pasted the wrapper script I'm using into an earlier post. Editing this to include a link to that post

infs ya try a web search for"debian appstream" or"debian packagekit", you'll find a number of alternative"Store" applications are still in use.

I personally dislike the"PlayStore" approach, yet I value"having a choice".debian dropped software-center as of version 8 (jessie) so you are stuck with synaptic. and the metapackage-installer

Thanks for the replies!
Where do i find the meta-package installer at?
How does one even know where to search for a particular application when they don't know what it's called. In synaptic, you do have categories but i find that some categories don't exist and what you are looking for isn't in the proper category. This is why synaptic sometimes is complicated.
I appreciate what the linux community has done with it's distro's but everyone using linux aren't programmers, they just want to use the software. Complicating things doesn't help people when they appreciate how fast the debian side is and would like to fully use debian only instead of bogged down ubuntu of any flavor.
