Hi,
Just installed Antix M11 on my netbook and liking it so far. One thing though:
As much as I like Synaptic I also like the Ubuntu-like Software Center. I installed the"software-center" in Synaptic and the install seemed to complete as it should. But it won't open.
When I click the Software Center in the menu a new window with the title Software Center opens but the window is empty and nothing else happens. (No error message.)
Any idea how to troubleshoot?

I just had to check because that was news to me. I think the software center may need the Gnome Desktop environment, but don't hold me to that as I really don't know and am just guessing here.
Have you done as root in terminal
Then reboot when done and open software center again?
Maybe it needs to open as root user first before things will show.
