Smtube plays some videos, but most of the videos won't run. Youtube code updated 09.01.2016.?

Well, going poke and hope here on my end. Multiple instances of videos I open play just fine with the name given in your log file.

I opened the whole album and also a live show to show both play just fine. You might consider re-installing smtube maybe in synaptic.
Out of curiosity on my end of the planet earth.

Did you do a md5sum check of AntiX before your install. I ask because maybe you received a corrupted iso download.
Which would show problems like you are having. Ghost in the machine type of problems.

hwdform, both before and after performing the 9/07 update I'm getting the same http: HTTP error 403 Forbidden
(for any YT video request, not specific to any particular video)
I'm in USA, so I doubt the 403 is due to geoip-based blocking.

No point losing sleep. It's been repeatedly broken/fixed previously...

edit:

I read that roky mentioned"full album", so I tried a couple searches within smtube that included the term"___ full album" in the search query.
Yep, those are playable.
Also tried a couple"_____ playlist" searches, and those results too are playable.
Weird.

So thanks to roky for finding a workaround for ya.
