Hello,
I lost my slim auto login and the French language in rox after upgrade my fresh install of Antix M8 base.
If someone can tell me why?

Maybe the upgrade messed up locales for language and a new slim.config file got installed.

strange in root rox speak french and in user rox speak english.

For the language problem do this in a terminal as root:
echo"export LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8" >>/etc/profile
then logout/login.
For slim there are 2 entries for auto_login yes
Remove one.
(Though I think the upgrade of slim has 'broken' the auto-login function) __{{emoticon}}__
