Slax was the first linux I tried.

That's too bad. I tried the Slax Server Edition a while back. I didn't get to play with it much but the idea of 'modules' I thought was a great idea. Only add what you want.

I hope he can get back to soon. I hate to see a great idea and body of work go stale, regardless of what it is.
