I finally saw a note on sidux.com that sidux 2009.02 pre1 is being tested. I might have caught it just as they started mention. They may be mastering and mirroring the image; don't know, but if not, it ought to be soon - just in time, we are nearly at the end of Q2 - which is tomorrow.

I've been updating sidux, so I am practically running what will be 2009.02, minus the final integration of the graphics and any utility changes - but I've even grafted some of that in my current rolling release. I run a snapshot of 2008.02 on one box, 2008.04 pre1 on another, both originally based on the KDE-lite release, but both with a whole lot more. I had another system running the 2007.04-5 Christmas Edition (which, appearance wise, was my favorite of all). Of course, all of them run essentially the same software when upgraded, except for their ident strings.

I know a lot of you like sidux too, so give antiX M8.2 PT1 a good spin and give sidux a good shake too when it becomes available.
