I wanted to create a very subdued theme. I was thinking of shades of gray with maybe a little color, but then I came across this wallpaper and decided to do an all gray theme. It is mostly complete - I just need to edit conky and decide on an icon theme (xmms, wallpaper, style, and gtk2 theme are in place).

P.S. Where/how do I upload tar balls of my theme packages?

Here's an update: I found a style that matches much better: mocca. Also, I found an mplayer skin that matches quite nicely. The closest I could come to a matching gtk2 theme that was not too glassy was"murrinaduoclean". In this screenshot, you can see how much clearer the icons are on a darker background. Enjoy.
