Currently running another distro and I have a seperate /home partition.
If I install antix over the top of the existing distro how does antix deal with the seperate /home partition? Should I add it during the install, leave it for the installer to find or add it to /etc/fstab after install?
Ta.

The installer asks if you want to create a separate /home partition (and where).
If you want to get rid of your old /home, but do not want to use it for the new /home then use gparted to set up the partitions as you want.
If you want to keep the old /home, but more as a 'storage' partition, then you can install antiX to one partition including its /home on the same partition, and fstab should automatically pick up your old /home as a mount pint.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I've lost data in the past when installers have behaved odd, always ask now!
I'll install antix tomorrow and see how it goes!

If you want to keep the data on your old /home, I suggest making a copy of it.
Just to be 100% certain.

I'll definitely do a backup of critical stuff.
Just had a look at the installer and there's an option to not format the /home partition so looking good.

All up and running now!
Only issue was that my existing /home partition used JFS so there were issues during boot.
Had to backup and reformat.
