Hi,

How can we change the settings for the Lock Screen button?

The screen saver works fine, but by default, mine runs with animations. That would be OK, but my laptop's fan runs a lot with these settings.

The setting in the brackets (xlock -mode blank) would be fine, but I just need to know where to set it. I've tried a couple of places, including ICEWm's configuration settings, but nothing's worked.

Thanks for any tips!!!!

i think you need to edit exitantix.sh in /usr/local/bin for the button in the taskbar. also in the latest antix if you lock the screen from the keyboard, the screen will go blank because it uses slock. to unlock it, you have to type in your user password and press enter.

Thanks dark-D. Yes, I think that's one of the files I had tried to edit, but with no luck.

I found this issue confusing to diagnose (and explain on a message board). But thanks to the wonderful flexibility of Linux (and ICEWm), I just added a Quick Launch entry to run my preferred screen saver settings. Cheers!
