Hi All,

I booted up with a live USB and used a root terminal to make the changes above and the aboe was all that was required. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction anticapitalista.

PS As I'm not a power user and don't know VI/VIM/nano I used a live USB with Geany to do the editing , which I find much easier to use.
