Hello:

I installed antix-8 RC2 in a desktop and it's running great. Also, I managed to solve the wireless problem by buying a new card (too many problems reported with the WG311v3 driver), and that worked out of the box.

I have a small problem. When I boot, I get an error/question about the resolution very early in the boot

boot
undefined video mode number = 317
Enter to see video modes available....

If I hit Enter, I get about 9 choices, if I wait (about 30 sec) it defaults to something and the reboots normally.

I noticed that the kernel line (from the grub menu) has vga=791. I don't know if that's related or not.

Any way to avoid seeing this msg at every boot? Maybe change the boot options?

thanks

Pedro

Was able to solve this problem, thanks to Anti's suggestion, by changing vga to normal in the boot/grub/menu.lst

Now it boots fine, without delays and the resolution is good.

Thanks.
