One thing I am having difficulty with is resizing windows. For example, I use Osmo for basic contacts and calendar needs. I maximize it to view it better but when I am done I want to make it much smaller ( I have a 22" monitor). I can not resize the window. When I put the mouse in any corner it does not change to a resizing cursor. Am I doing something wrong? How do I accomplish this?

I find that it only turns into a resizing cursor when I put it into the lower right corner.

Right click on the title bar for a menu and look for dimensions or remember and see if anything is holding the window size.

Yea, but some windows don't even do it in the right corner. Like Iceweasel (sometimes) and Osmo (sometimes). It seems like sometimes you can do it and other times you can't.

I had remember set and I took that off. I will have to check the Dimensions later when I get home. Thanks for the tip.

Then there is always this great tip:"If you find yourself unable to reach the save, close, or whatever button at the bottom of a widow because it is below the bottom of the screen, hold down the"alt" key and you can click and drag the window up from anywhere on the window." (from Mepis user peregrine, who is doing the terrific design work on the Community web page that we will soon be making available for comment).
