Hello,
in the Xorg.log, there are few error messages.

Should I perhaps install the ATI proprietary driver instead of radeon?

Are you experiencing any problems with the ati,radeon driver?

I never install the proprietary driver if things are working smoothly for me using the open source driver.
You just might induce more trouble shooting time in case something breaks.

That being said.

The instructions are good for AntiX also.
