I'm using a system originally 8.5-test1-base so I'm posting in 8.2 because I don't know if this is changed in newer versions.
I would like to know if the scripts /etc/init.d/planb_rc5.sh and planb_rcS.sh have any function after the system is installed.
Since they give error messages every update process (nothing important really) then if they're not useful I would just delete 'em.

If my memory serves me, those scrpts are used when using the livecd and for the hd install, lean, mean, etc and so you should be ok to delete them, but of course, I would check with anti to verify that, as he has tweaked some of them.

Thanks, ohh.
I guess i can just rename them/make them not executable and see if any error messages pop up at boot time.

Those scripts get removed after install on latest antiX.
