I reinstalled everything, and still having the same update issue.
I tried this apt-get clean, then apt-get update. Then tried performing the update again getting the same results.
Now how do I fix this problem?

Eino - what version of antiX are you using?

Strange behaviour for a first upgrade. Suggests a bad install.

Let me know the version and I'll see if I can reprodude the error. (Standard repos I guess you are using)

I'm going to make sure the Install CD is clean free of any finger prints, and , dust then try again. Just to see what happens.

Any reason why you are using antiX-M11-686 and not the latest release of antiX-12?

Update worked after I did a reinstall. I'm out of blank CD's to burn a new ISO. This mechine dose not support USB booting.
I'm stuck with 11 for now.

Eino, since you have a 750MB drive, I would suggest you create a partition so you can boot the iso from hard drive. Saves on css, is much faster than booting from cd and faster than from a usb stick as well.
The partition doesn't need to be big, just big enough to hold the iso on eg 1GB is plenty for antiX.

After I create a partition, and copy the ISO onto it.
What do I add to boot from that partition?
