Tried to upgrade to the security patched kernels.
I tried both :4.4.10 antix-sid1amd64, and 4.6.2-antix-sid 1amd64

The following problem appears with both kernels,Pc won't boot and many lines of this:

DMAR:[DMA READ] Request device [05:00.0] fault addr ffdd000
DMAR: [fault reason 06] PTE Read access is not set
DMAR:[DMA READ] Request device [05:00.0] fault addr ffdd003
DMAR: [fault reason 06] PTE Read access is not set

and so on....

before the security patch I tried some different kernels, I've never seen this.

Code: Select all

helga@antix1:~
$ lspci -vvs 05:00.0
05:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR9227 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)
Subsystem: Qualcomm Atheros AR9227 Wireless Network Adapter
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx-

Hope someone can help.

Are you using sid or testing repos?

You *did* keep a backup didn't you?

To complete:

I just installed the debian 4.7.0-1 amd64-unsigned.

Boots fine, but would like to go on with antix-kernels.
