Thanks for finding and posting this, anti, and thanks to the aptosid team for locating this. The fix is now available in Debian Sid, but I still managed to get caught by this. Looked in aptosid repos and the fix was no longer in the a pool; it is now, however, in the Debian Sid pool, so I downloaded the .deb package, ran dpkg -i on it, then was able to complete my upgrade; in fact, it's wrapping up now as I write this note, and will probably be done by the time I'm finished; yup, it's done, and it worked.

I've shared this with a few of my buddies who use either antiX or Sid, so this tip has come in very handy, not just for me, but for others. I think that Sid now has the right package, but I have not beat on it without first putting this fix in place, so I have really appreciated this one!
