Hello,
I hosed my antix 15 and decided to reinstall using 15.1 and ran into several problems.
I went through several reinstalls because I kept crashing my system after dist-upgrades. Finally have a stable (sort of) system going.
I have a few issues remaining:
1) i cant drop to a terminal from desktop. I mean I can't see anything on the screen (except what looks like the to very top of a cursor at the bottom of screen). This is a problem since I can't use sxmi.
2) From control center or terminal, reboot, halt, do not work
3) dist-upgrade issues.
Since 15.1 does not ask which repo to use (defaults to stable) and went through a apt-get update, upgrade dist-upgrade with stable repos. Then clsoed the stable repos and opened testing and went though update and upgrade. If I run a dist-upgrade now it promises to take out a WHOLE of stuff, including x-org and a lot of the antix specific packages. I backed out of that since I found out that if I say yes, I can't boot.
Also tried using sid repos and still get the same problems.
Thanks for the help.
Pedro

If you want to upgrade to testing or sid, you must only use that repo in both debian and antiX
You may want to try antiX-16. RC1 will be available very soon.

Anti,
thanks. I have testng only for both debian and antix. Forgot to mention that.
Any ideas for the other issues, like dropping to console from desktop?
thanks.

It seems that the upgrade may have dragged in some systemd stuff from Testing.
TBH. I would re-install and keep 15.1 at jessie or wait for antiX-16 release candidate 1 to hit the repos. (within 24 hours)
