Hello:
I tried control center to set the system clock to EST, but it did not work.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

You must use the Antix Control center under the Hardware tab select"set date and time". Follow the promt.

I tried that several times, and even though I picked the correct country and time zone (for example, New York), the system clock does not reset and still shows DST.
Finally had to go into a shell and set the system clock and the set the hardware clock to the system clock. That worked and changed the clock on Antix toolbar (using ICE-WM).
Thanks.

The"set time and date" is kind of misleading. I doesn't actually set the time, it more or less just sets the time zone.
It sound like the hardware clock(bios) was wrong, which would set everything wrong.
Glad you got it set.
