gagnam style I think I have heard more mockery of it than the song.... maybe approx 1000/2 __{{emoticon}}__
I think the 2 times I heard the whole song it was to annoy / torture a couple of buddies
In a hole I guess :/meandean wrote:where have you been __{{emoticon}}__

Had a quick look through this thread but didn't see mention of 14-a4 JWM.
So just mentioning here that 'exit' from the menu drops you to a shell, then need to shutdown from there.
This version seems like the old 'core', will there be a 'base' with wifi?

Maybe fix whatever it is smplayer is updating so that is fixed, and then find a way to just call out a run to mplayer to run the player in its own window as though it was calling an external xdg application, not a plugin within the browser, and then i bet it will run fine...
Dave, I think you are close to the right answer if you know a way to implement it. I got a newer bigger faster drive for the old P III, so had space to experiment, and loaded fresh 14.4rv full on it. It won't play youtube as it arrives. If I try to disable flash I can get it to sorta play in a very choppy html5 mode inside the browser. Ok, but if I turn that off and just copy the url, and paste it into mplayer, it won't play. but if I make it http instead of https and paste it into SMPlayer youtube browser, it complains but then fixes it. Then i can paste it in smplayer and play fine. Then play also works fine in mplayer. They are only using 25-30% cpu to play outside the browser and playing well, not choppy.Dave wrote:You tube with any browser, stream tuner defaults problematic, with audacious no, any just plain video?
I'm starting to think mplayer is a possibility....
Does stream tuner use mplayer are the backend?
I think you tube if it is in html5 mode would use mplayer or maybe a different video player as the backend decoder.
Edit: just speculating a possibility I have not seen the problem.
