My first visit as a newbie Antux user so bear with me if this question ia really stupid __{{emoticon}}__
I have started a Antix session from a live CD and am very impressed and decided to go ahead and try to install on my hard drive BUT whatever I try to do or open I get a message that an administrative password is required. So my question is where do I get that password from to use?
I also wanted to change the resolution but again I needed THAT elusive password.................
I appreciate your help.

Welcome to antiX.

When booting, the first page allows a choice of antiX mode (boot options etc...). Press F1 to display the help screen, it contains lots of guidance. Also of interest might be the wiki ref:eddiewa wrote:...where do I get that password from to use?

Hello eddiewa:
For the livecd session, the password is"root" (no quotation marks).
