This is the one thing that makes the whole PCLOS suite of distros attractive to me. I find setting up ANY kind of Network (In Linux) a real chore. It's not just the Networking thing though..... The Control Centre (Yep, me is a Brit!) is just a fantastic tool, and completely circumvents what would (For some) be a rather painful, slow & laborious experience when entering into the World of Linux.
There's also another really great tool called the"Tinycc" which is installed in"TinyMe" (& maybe even the other distros) which makes it a lot easier to work with lightweight managers like Open/Fluxbox et al.
LOL!! Unfortunately, i can (at the moment) only install antiX on this old eVectra PIII (600 Mhz 128mb Ram) and although i have tried to install TinyMe onto it (To compare the two) it just won't boot into the Live CD. I've tried several different burns etc, but i just can't get it to go.Please note that antiX is MUCH faster than any PCLOS derivative -- but PCLOS includes some killer tools. AntiX is still top dog for"fast on old hardware" -- I am simply seeing how much blood I can get out of a turnip.
But i do have TinyMe installed on another PIII that i have here (Albeit a faster one (1Ghz) with a lot more Ram) and TinyMe is a real flyer. Hopefully i'll one day get it onto this machine somehow, to compare the two..... but i still think you're right and that antiX will win"Hands Down".
