topic title: no sound

Hello,
Sorry if this is already posted but i am new here and new to antix.
My problem is on first boot up i have sound but when i reboot nothing i have ggoled but have had no luck.. i have the lateset version of antix..
my laptop is
hp pavilion dv9720us laptop
If anyone can help would greatly be appreciated

In the toolbar at the bottom, open the antiX control centre-> Hardware->Adjust mixer
and make sure the master, front and pcm levels are up.

yes they are when i hit f6 to get sound card..it comes up with hda nvidia and i get other mixer settings and they are all the way up

I want to personally thank anticapitalista for his help in getting my sound working was getting frustrate.. all for the sound issue i really like antix ..
