Hello:
I installed antix-core in my laptop and don't have sound. Sound works fine in Antix-full, so I figured I haven't installed the right package yet.

I've added alsa-base (which pulled in alsa-utils and another package, I forget which) and alsa-firmware-loaders (and w32codecs).

Any suggestions on which package I'm missing?

Thanks Anti. That fixed it, and running alsa-mixer, after unmuting (that option always gets me; just see the bars going up and think volume is on).
