Hi

I have spent the last week or two downloading and trying out various distros for my aged dell latitude laptop. It has a 500 mhz cpu, and about 500mb ram. (i'm typing this from the live cd on the same laptop.)

I have tried mepis, absolute, lubuntu, debian, elive, fedora and some I cant remember the name of. To be fair debian got installed out of these distros but it is slow. Apart from that works ok though. However now I have tried antix I will be installing this to the hard drive - if possible.

So just wanted to say nice job. __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__

crass-one,

Welcome to antiX, I have a couple of older dell laptops that antiX runs great on, lot's of nice folks here, always willing to lend a hand when needed.
