i am new to linux, and i just love antix, great work you're doing here
would change some stuff on it, but at this time i barely know anything about linux

as someone who was a new linux user when I found antiX, may I suggest living with the default system for a while before jumping into changes. I think you'll be glad you did. linux isn't nearly as complicated as some people make out, but it is very different from the big 2 commerical OS's.
also, there is the antiX faq (installed on the system and available from the menu) and we've got a video series at youtube.com/runwiththedolphin devoted mostly to antiX features. antiX not only runs well on older hardware, but its insanely customizable and flexible.

Welcome and Howdy! Glad to see someone else who wants to learn.
DO is right. Try out this distro as is until you learn more about it. DO has made several excellent videos on YouTube so you can learn to customize YOUR system the way you want it.
