Congratulations on Antix. Really fast and lightweight. I like to checkout new systems and test the basic functions and share my experiences, so here goes:
When trying to add printer Antix correctly identified my Epson XP-310 then a dialog"Searching for drivers" popped up twice and then the whole Print Settings app just closed down. I overcame the problem by using Turboprint but this is not a free app.
I tried to setup the Thai language but it wasn't listed in the language dialog. I finally got it to work after installing ibus and associated packages. It was not a trivial task.
I installed NVidia 304 drivers and created xorg.conf but I could only boot to a terminal login screen. This problem is not unique to Antix but I can live with Nouveau drivers because your desktops do not make any demands on the video card.
Wifi worked perfectly out of the box.
I liked the range of desktops and themes. I am still playing with these but screenshot of my current desktop attached.

Are your case fans REALLY running at 2500+ rpm (as shown in the conky output) ?

No real way to check but I have no reason to doubt it. The speed varies so the sensors are definitely working. By sight it is impossible to see the fan blades as they are going so fast.

Asked because I expect I'd need earplugs if the fans on this PC revved that fast.
Seeing your conky reminded me:
the output from my SYSTIN sensor would serve as a reasonably accurate (±1°C) onscreen room temp indicator

No earplugs needed on mine. The foam dampens the sound. Like earplugs. Living in the desert makes one improvise.

I guess noise is dependent on environment. I have a mid size case with ball bearing fans. All cables are tidy and the outlet is large punched holes (not a wire grill). This all allows a free airflow and it is the restriction of air which creates noise. Test it by taking your fans out of the case and see how silent they are. Back to Antix; does anybody else have the printer install problems or is it unique to my system? Has anybody successfully installed a printer?

Good News, I found my own solution for the printer problem. I installed printer-driver-escpr. Maybe the developers could include this as a default install. Alternatively provide feedback if it does not exist; it is not good practise to just close down the Printer Install function.
