I have these 2 new Directories in my Home folder and I don't know why root put them there. Never noticed them there before. Don't even know why root needed to add them to the home folder.
Tried opening them up as root with leafpad to read what is in there but all the info leafpad gives is that they are directories and that is it. Anybody ever see something like this before? I don't want to -r them if they are needed for something. Beats the heck out of me what they are for though. I didn't make those directories with mkdir.

Yes I did in fact. I thought that the backup was only in tar format. I see the light now I guess. I guess root needs these to reinstate the tar backups. Thanks for the heads up and education.
