Hello everyone
I have only just started using antiX on my old laptop and i'm still feeling my way around so to speak but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a brilliant distro. Was on the verge of throwing out this old laptop that is until i installed antiX on it. Great big well done to all the developers and everyone else who has had an hand in producing this brilliant distro.
Going to get to know antiX really well and then i hope to have a go at antix core.

IMO, this is the biggest"selling point" of lightweight distros like antiX -- the ability to keep old hardware usable. I'm running antiX on three systems regularly (two constant, one part time): a 1997 vintage Pentium II laptop, a ca. 2002 Athlon XP 2000+ tower, and a Core2Quad Q9400, 2.67 GHz with 4 GiB RAM and more than a terabyte of storage. It runs extremely well on the newer hadware, and keeps the old (especially the laptop) useful enough to be worth dealing with.
