I download the firefox.bz2 file and run it in my /home after I extract it into /home/harry. Or is it /opt. I forget as I am not on my Shop box right now. Probably /opt.

I run fluxbox on that rig because it is a AntiX 11 base install.
If you want my launch codes for fluxbox menu with a icon.
Let me know in next post.

By the way. I have been thinking of trying out Pale Moon instead of using Firefox Lately.
It runs better on my Slack0 5.7 Puppy Linux install than Firefox and is the same thing as Firefox also.

If my AntiX 11 install was not already dialed in like in like I like it.
I would switch from Firefox to Pale Moon. It runs faster.

Firefox is not included in meta package installer because of branding issues.
Iceweasel is the same thing as Firefox so I do not know why you prefer Firefox
in AntiX. I only used Firefox in my AntiX 11 install because Iceape support was
dropped by Debian and AntiX 11 came with Iceape and I was already familiar running
bz2 files out of /home.

iceweasel IS firefox, just without the firefox brand. there is no other difference.
