I'm new at this forum and I think it's neat to introduce myself. Hopefully it's quite readable and please forgive me my mistakes because I'm Dutch and not a native English speaking person. In fact, most of the times I use a dialect to communicate with the local people overhere __{{emoticon}}__ The best experience with antiX that I have was with a Packard Hell machine (p3 800mhz). After 2 days trying to get that damn thing working with win xp I gave it up, a blue screen with a large error message was all I get. Google it, but no help available. I asked if I may try a linux-distro, it was not my machine (otherwise I wouldn't consider about windows). After a positive reply I took the antiX cd and installed it. In less than a hour I had a machine wich was capable with al their wishes. From hate-machine to a system that I like to keep for myself...

Howdy and Welcome, bak. Nice to meet you. You can call me Rok.

Glad to hear you gave a positive experience to the Packard Bell User.

Happy Trails, Rok

Hello Rok, nice to meet you too.
I forgot to tell my name (which is much shorter), it's Theo.
'Linuxbakkie' is Dutch for 'small linux box' which I use for my Dutch linux weblog.
I use the name because I don't want to have too much different usernames.

Cool. Mine is actually a family name. Has a lurid history to it. As you can see. I am the AntiX Linux using Biker here. Glad you have joined the tribe here.
