Just want to give a big"HELLO" to everyone. I'm a new Antix user and am currently running Antix mx-14 beta 2 on my ancient Dell 8300 system w/512 meg of ram. My monster rig got wrecked during our new location move, so I was forced to using my wife's dad old pc. I was searching for a Linux distro that would run fast and stable. Most of the newer distros need a multi processor with at least 1 gig of ram.
Antix mx-14 is running like a dream and am extremely pleased. Keep up the great work guys! __{{emoticon}}__

MX is pretty nice I must admit. the standard antix-13.2 full is really good too! (get the 32 bit version for your machine). AntiX will use less ram the MX.

Welcome. Like Dolphon said, antiX will use less memory than MX. I hope you have fun here.
